MR – 5 ID is an hydraulic drilling unit for using 2″ or 3″ down-the-hole hammer, or rock-drill weighing 58 kg with separate right and left rotation, provided with a hydraulic power pack operated by an electric, diesel or petrol motor.

A light cradle-shaped tubular structure, provided with wheels, makes posi-tioning extremely practical. Suitable stabilisers improve the stability of the machine. The slide, which mounts the hydraulic cylinder trolley, pro-vides a tractive force of 1500 daN, is equipped with a turn table for a 360° rotation.

Through a practical and quick transforma-tion, the unit can be provided with a fast rotating head for core drilling of 50 mm diameter. Like all Marini units, the MR – 5 ID can be customized in relation to the different needs.
